Edward Leon Harnan
September 25, 1926 --- 4 November 1994

Edward L. Harnan was born September 25, 1926, at Boone, Iowa to Edward Patrick and Laura Nelson
Harnan. On June 23, 1963, at Eagle Grove, he married Marjorie Ellsworth. Mr. Harnan was a member of the United Church of Christ in Eagle Grove. He was a fireman first class in the Navy during World War II. He was a car man for the Chicago & North Western Railroad for 37 years before his retirement in 1978.

Edward L. Harnan of Mexico, Mo., died Friday, November 4, 1994, at Audrain Medical Center.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie; seven children: Mrs. Mike (Paula) Hill, Robin Trausch and Mrs. Gene (Lisa) Silver, all of Mexico, Mrs. Jim (Cathy) Dyer of North Sioux City, S.D., Doug Trausch of San Jose, Calif., Garry Trausch of Fort Dodge, and Mrs. Rod (Kim) Kelling of McCook Lake, S.D.; one brother, William Stockman of Boone; one sister, Mrs. Kenny Bergeson of Ames; 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services were Monday, November 7, 1994 at the United Church of Christ in Eagle Grove. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Eagle Grove.
