MARJORIE DORIS HARNAN
Marjorie Doris Ellsworth was born October 18, 1925, in Omaha, Neb., to Claire E. and Mildred Hassett Ellsworth. She was a graduate of Eagle Grove High School, Eagle Grove, Iowa, in 1945. She married Edward Leon Harnan on June 23, 1963, in Eagle Grove. She worked at the Audrain County Library in the Genealogy Research Department. She was a member of the United Church of Christ, Eagle Grove.

Marjorie D. Harnan died Wednesday, June 9, 1999, at the Pin Oaks Nursing Center in Mexico, Mo., at the age of 73.

She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Paula Hill, Mexico, Cathy Dyer, and husband, Jim, North Sioux City, S. D., Kim Kelling, and husband, Rod, McCook Lake, S. D., Robin Trausch Biggers, and husband, Gary, Auxvasse, Mo., and Lisa Silver, and husband, Gene, Mexico; two sons, Doug Trausch, San Jose, Calif., and Garry Trausch, Fort Dodge, Iowa; 13 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, on November 4, 1994.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 12, 1999, at 11 a.m. at the United Church of Christ, Eagle Grove, with the Reverend Eldon Jandebeur officiating. Burial was held in Rose Hill Cemetery in Eagle Grove. Pickering Funeral Home in Mexico, Mo., was in charge of arrangements.
