Ada Cash Asher Watson
13 September 1901 --- 26 June 1962

Mrs. Fred Watson, 60, died late Tuesday afternoon in Lutheran hospital, Ft. Dodge where she had been a medical patient for four weeks. She suffered from a heart ailment, which was the cause of her death. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Kastler Funeral Home in charge of Dr. Thos. Hoover. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Watson is survived by her husband, two sons, Eldon Asher of Racine, Wis. and Donald W. Asher of Lincoln, Neb., two stepdaughters, Mrs. Hazel Bilek of Eagle Grove and Mrs. Charles Tollefson of Green Bay, Wis., two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Russell of Indianola and Mrs. Nell Williams of Park Rapids, Minn. Other survivors are five grandchildren, Mrs. Barbara Rodberg of Eagle Grove, Susan Asher of Lincoln, Neb., and Rene, Lynn, and Mary Asher of Racine, Wis.

Mrs. Watson was formerly in business here and for many years operated Ada'a Beauty Shop. She was a member of the Congregational church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.

Mrs. Watson's maiden name was Ada Cash, and her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Fulton Cash. She was born Sept. 13, 1901, in Flora, Ill. And with her parents came to Wright County in 1913. They lived in Woolstock and in Troy Township for many years and she attended the Troy school and Eagle Grove high school.

She was married to Fred Watson, Feb. 28, 1947.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Ethel Cash.
