Emory Alvin Hahn, died on Thursday, January 7, 2021 in the Illinois Veterans Home. He was born on June 4, 1933 in Clarion, IA the son of Floyd Perry and Grace Mod (White) Hahn. He married Betty Nell Graff on November 20, 1955 in Pleasant View Baptist Church. She preceded him in death on February 4, 2011. Emory served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Emory worked at many different places over the years. He had worked for Sim's Farms, Maas Construction Company, Chanen's Auto Supply, the Illinois Veterans Home, O'Reilly Auto Parts, Coleman Motors, Shottenkirk, and had also been a Bus Driver for Liberty CUSD #2/ He retired in the Summer of 2004.

Emory is a member of Liberty Christian Church and had formerly been a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.

Emory enjoyed vacationing to Texas, Kansas City and Florida to see family. He liked riding motorcycles and spending time at the lake that he had made while at Sim's farms. Emory also enjoyed being a clown in local parades and festivities.

Emory is survived by his children: Alvin (Shirley) Hahn of Lee's Summit, MO; Norma (Mike) Colgrove of Liberty, IL; Roger (Darlene) Hahn of Odessa, TX; and Jamie (Jodie) Hahn of Liberty, IL. Siblings: Floyd Hahn of Quincy; Carol Price of Quincy; Faye Stoops of Palmyra, MO; and Kermit (Vicki) Hahn of Palm Bay, FL; Grandchildren: Cory (Aimee) Hahn of Lee's Summit, MO; Angie (Jake) Zuydendorp of Peculiar, MO; Becky (Josh) Coster of Raymore, MO; Ashley (Ethan) Loos of Columbus, IL; Garret (Sara) Colgrove of Liberty, IL; Dustin (Kara) Hahn of Midland, TX; Rachel (Nathan) Chapman of Midland, TX; Kayla (John) Roossink of Odessa, TX; Jordan (Rachel) Hahn, Jenna Hahn, and Julia Hahn all of Liberty.16 Great- Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to his wife, Emory was also preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Louise Preston and Anna Mae Tapp.

Private family services will be held. Interment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Liberty Christian Church, the Illinois Veterans Home Activities Fund or to Pleasant View Cemetery. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. No memorial events are currently scheduled.
