MARGARET IDA BIONDAHL
Margaret Ida Jenkins was born December 25, 1916, the daughter of Grafton and Ann Leisson Jenkins at
Armstrong. She received her education in the Forest City school system, and graduated from Forest City High School She was united in marriage to Manly Biondahl of Eagle Grove on July 11, 1935, at Bethany, Mo. The couple spent their first five years together on a farm in rural Eagle Grove, before moving to Thor, where they have made their home since that time. For many years, Mr. Biondahl owned and operated Manly Manufacturing in Thor. Mrs. Biondahl was a member of the Ullensvang Lutheran Church and the Rebecca Circle.

Margaret Ida Biondahl died April 29, 1992 at her home following a short illness. She had attained the age of 75 years, four months and four days. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Forest Fowler; and a brother, Luverne Jenkins. She is survived by her husband; one son, Joe, both of Thor; three daughters, Mrs. Arnold (Sharon) Coltvet of Eagle Grove, Mrs. Richard (Joan) Peschau, Sioux City, and Mrs. Tom (Pauline) Tomlinson of Bettendorf; 11 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held May 2 at the Ullensvang Lutheran Church in Thor with the Rev. H. W. Schiller officiating at the 2 pm. services. Burial was in the East Ullensvang Cemetery, Thor. The Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
