HAMPTON -- Sarah Perez, age 57, of Hampton, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hampton on Monday June 18, 2018 with burial at Hampton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. The Surls Funeral Home of Iowa Falls is assisting the family.

Sarah Ann (Jackson) Perez was born on July 12, 1960 to Paul and Kaye Jackson in Belmond, Iowa. She was baptized in September of 1960 and confirmed in March of 1975. Sarah graduated from High School with the Class of 1978.

Sarah was united in marriage to Delbert Perez at the Kanawha Lutheran Church on June 7, 1986. Sarah worked for Winnebago for nearly 30 years, starting in Hampton and then to the Forest City plant. She loved her entire family, always interested in how everyone was doing. She loved working with plants and flowers, she always had a beautiful back yard where all could sit, visit, and enjoy the beauty throughout the growing season. Sarah was a friendly, fun loving person with an ever present smile. She enjoyed spending time with her many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She will greatly be missed by all but remembered by all for her love of family and friends and a great sense of humor.

Sarah is survived by her husband of 32 years, Delbert; 3 step-children, Mandy (Jamie) of Minnesota, Krista (Jeremy) of Belmond, and Joe (Jenn) of Belmond; grandchildren, Alex, RyAnn, Kaleb, Hannah, Emma, Carver, and Kinnick; parents, Paul and Kaye Jackson; mother-in-law, Bev Perez of Hampton; two brothers, Scott (Dawn) Jackson of Carlisle and Neal (Laura) Jackson of Johnston; brother-in-law, David (Amy) Perez of Hampton; nephews, Brady (Krista) Jackson, Zach Jackson, James Perez (Natalie), Rob Perez; niece, Nataley and Kim Perez; great-nephews, Noah and Ronan Jackson, Cudder Perez; great-nieces Danica, Raiona and Layla Perez and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
