Bryan "Barney" Eugene Harty of Mound, [Minnesota] born April 17, 1963 in Belmond, IA, passed away suddenly October 12, 2017 at home. Graduated in 1981 from Mound Westonka and later from Mankato State. Charter member of the Mound Sons of the American Legion. His favorite thing was taking his sons and granddaughters fishing. Active in Hockey, football and baseball. Preceded in death by father Thomas Harty, Grandfather Cleatis Harty, and cousins Annie Just and Rod Smith. Survived by wife Gina, sons Thomas and Ryan, mother Jean Harty, brother Jeff (Lani), all of Mound and sister Roxanne Berns of Belmond, IA; granddaughters, Shayanne, Jailynn, Arianna; many aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces. Visitation at 10:00 AM and Celebration of Life 11:00 AM Tuesday, Oct 17th at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 2385 Commerce Blvd, Mound, MN 55364. Lunch served at the Mound Legion following the services.
