3 April 1851 --– 26 March 1921

Mrs. John Klasse nee Barbara Bram was born in Engi Canton, Glaus, Switzerland. In April 1881 she came to America and settled near Renwick, Iowa, where she was united in marriage to John Klasse, Apri1 16, 1882. About 10 years ago they moved to Renwick at which time she united with the Evangelical church of which she has been a faithful member. During the last 6 months she has suffered a great deal but through it all she was very patient, and kind and thoughtful of those ministering so lovingly to her, in her suffering. She died March 26, 1921, at the age of 69 years, 11 months, 26 days. Her husband and one daughter preceded her in death; She leaves to mourn her departure two sons, four grandchildren and many relatives and friends. The funeral services were held in the Evangelical church, conducted by Rev. A. S. Beckman and she was laid to rest in the Baumgartner cemetery.
