Section Foreman Killed.
Northwood, May 23.—James Davey, the section boss on a division of the B. C. R. & N. track at this place, was killed Saturday, He and the section men went into some box ears to get out of the storm. The storm abated and he took a tricycle and went up the track on some business. It began to rain and he was riding with his back toward the train. The train was switching and ran against the tricycle. The fall broke his neck. He had worked on this same road ever since he was 14 years old. He was a member of the band and the fire company and was well liked.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a grave shows he was born July 13, 1864 and died May 21, 1898. He is buried in St. Patricks Cemetery.
