Diphtheria and Small Pox in Worth County.
Index:—Mention was made herein, two weeks ago, of dipththeria{sp} in the sadly afflicted family of Henry White, out six miles southeast of here. Last week we were called upon to record the death of one child and the sickness of three others. Since then all three children have passed away, the last two being buried in one grave Sunday last. Only the parents remain, and an infant child who has not had the disease.
[Iowa Birth Records show Mary White born March 29, 1898, Worth County, Iowa, parents: Henry White & Ida Rasmussen. Henry White married Ida Rasmussen on March 12, 1895 in Albert Lea, Freeborn County, MN. Names of the other two children are unknown.]
