Herman Joseph Wessling, 52, of Danbury, died Thursday night in a Sioux City, hospital following a long illness.

Mr. Wessling married Cecelia McCall January 24, 1939, at Mapleton, la. He had farmed in the Danbury area until his death.

Survivors include the widow; three sons living at home, Roger, Roland and Michael; his mother, Mrs. Henry Wessling of Danbury; five brothers, Elmer, Bernard, George, Leo and Lawrence, all of Danbury; and three sisters, Christina Peters of Danbury, Eileen Burton of Danbury and Mrs. Frank Peters of Rochester, Minn.

Funeral services will be at 10 a. m. Saturday at St. Mary Catholic church at Danbury. Rev. Richard V. Sweeney will officiate.

The rosary will be recited at 8:30 o'clock tonight at Fitzpatrick funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery at Danbury.

Pallbearers will be Ronny Jacobs, Alvis Wessling, Jerry Wessling, Clem Wessling, jr., Paul Burton and Kenny Wessling.
