MAPLETON, Iowa - Warren E. Waddell, 69, formerly of Mapleton, died Monday, Feb. 4, 1991, at a nursing home in Kingsley.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Walter-Armstrong Funeral Home in Mapleton, with the Rev. John Crosswhite officiating. Burial will be in the Danbury Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Waddell was born Sept. 3, 1921, near Danbury, the son of Ray and Frances (Fisher) Waddell. He lived in the Danbury-Mapleton communities, having worked at the sale barn, Ray Reinbold Trucking, and as a farm laborer. He moved to Holstein in November 1978. He entered a nursing home in Cherokee in 1981 and transferred to the nursing home in Kingsley in 1984.

As a youth, he was a member of the 4-H.

Survivors include a sister, Marjorie Riley, of Kingsley and a brother, Chuck, of Aurora, Colo.

Warren E. Waddell, 69, formerly of Mapleton, died Monday, February 4, 1991, at a nursing home in Kingsley.

Services were held on Wednesday at Walter -Armstrong. Funeral Home in Mapleton, with the Rev. John Crosswhite officiating. Mrs. Laura Adams was the organist.

Pallbearers included Ray Else, Larence Buoey, Byron Blackburn, Wilbert Dose, Leo Weber, and Mike Riley. Burial was in the Danbury cemetery.
