Mrs. Martin Sanders, 83, a Danbury and Ida Grove, Iowa, resident, died Wednesday at a Battle Creek, Iowa, hospital after a long illness.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church at Danbury. The Rev. Edmund Tiedeman will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery at Danbury.

The Rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock tonight at the Christensen Funeral Home at Ida Grove.

The former Mary Meier, she was born Jan. 14, 1886, at Schaller, Iowa. She was married to Martin Sanders Oct. 18, 1920 in Sioux City. He died a few years ago.

Survivors include two sons, George Voss of Quimby, Iowa, and Joseph Voss of Denver, Colo.; three daughters, Mrs. Ben Reimers of Tacoma, wash., Mrs. James Fish of Auburn, Wash., and Mrs. Henrietta Shefchik of Ida Grove; three brothers, Henry Meier of Ida Grove, Matt Meier of Mapleton, Iowa, and Frank Meier of LeMars, Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Gross of Mapleton, and Mrs. Kate Collins of Danbury, 20 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
