On Monday, November 5, 2018, Margaret Ann Crampton went home to her Savior and into the arms of loving husband Herb, who preceded her in death one year ago.

She was born in Sioux City, Iowa on March 25, 1935 to Margie and Noel Maude.

Margaret graduated from High School in Lawton, Iowa in 1954. She attended business school in Omaha, Nebraska. Margaret married the love of her life, Herbert Dale Crampton on October 26, 1958 in Sioux City, Iowa and enjoyed 60 years of wonderful marriage.

Margaret worked for over 15 years as an Executive Secretary for Gibson's in Storm Lake, Iowa. She later became a clerk at Hy-Vee Grocery Store. Margaret's line was always popular. She worked there until her retirement. Margaret loved her life as a wife, mother, grandmother, and a great-grandmother.

She is survived by her son, Scott and his wife Lori of Bullhead City, Arizona, son, Kevin and his wife Karen of Parker, Colorado; sisters, Shirley (Gordie) Morrice of Battle Creek, Iowa, Kay (Gary) Puttmann of Sioux Center, Iowa; grandchildren, Taylor (Chris) Underwood, Jordan (Kathleen) Crampton, Morgan Crampton, Elisabeth Crampton; great-grandchildren, Bodhi Underwood and Quinn Underwood; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Everyone loved Aunt Margaret. The family would like to thank her companion, Pat Kromer for brightening her last days.

Margaret was always the sweetest and most loving woman who had nothing but kind words for others. She will be missed deeply by those who loved her and by everyone who had the pleasure to spend time with her.

We now celebrate that she is at peace in Heaven, fully restored with her loving husband, Herb. "Therefore be imitators of God as dear children, and walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling aroma." Ephesians 5: 1-2

A celebration of her life will be held at 6 pm on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Joshua Springs Senior Living. It will be officiated by Pastor Chris Zeller.

A celebration of life will be in Storm Lake, Iowa at 11 am on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Lakeside Presbyterian Church officated by Reverend Mark Phillips. A lunch will follow at the church.

A graveside service will be in Lawton, Iowa.
