Alfred H. Brainerd, 40, 1523 Jones Street, died Wednesday night in a hospital here after an illness of two months of a heart ailment.

Mr. Brainerd was born May 16, 1899, in Banner township near Lawton. For the last four years he had been a foreman employed by Booth & Olson Co., road contractors.

Surviving are the widow, Edna; a daughter, Joy, of Sioux City; his mother, Mrs. Lena Brainerd, a brother, Clifford, and two sisters, Miss Charlotte Brainerd and Mrs. Lucille Armstrong, all of Upland, Cal.

The body is at Anderson's funeral home pending the completion of funeral arrangements.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon in Anderson's chapel for Alfred H. Brainerd, 40, 1523 Jones street, who died Wednesday night in a hospital here after an illness of two months of a heart ailment. Rev. A. Towner will officiate. Burial will be at Lawton.
