Roy Calvin Ferguson, 53, of Hornick, Iowa, died Friday in his home at Hornick following a six-month illness. He was a life-long resident of Hornick, Holly Springs area.

Mr. Ferguson was born in Holly Springs, February 11, 1888. He and Clara Crichton were married in Elk Point, South Dakota, May 22, 1925.

Surviving are the widow, the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sewell Ferguson of Hornick, and one sister, Mrs. Joe LeMoine of Sioux City.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. today in the Hornick Methodist Church. Rev. W.F. Lane officiated and interment was in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City.
