Clarence P. Leazer, 50, 218 W. Sixth Street, died in a hospital Sunday after a short illness.

Mr. Leazer was born June 13, 1891 at Willis Springs, South Dakota and was a resident of Sioux City for 35 years. He belonged to St. Boniface Catholic Church and to the Holy Name Society of the church.

Surviving are the widow, Beata; two daughters, Miss Lorna Leazer and Mrs. Velva Maguire, both of Sioux City; four sons, Erven of Hartington, Nebraska, Delane, who is a sailor at San Diego, California and Terry and Lynn C, both of Sioux City; five sisters, Mrs. Eva Potters of Portales, N.M., Mrs. Catherine Dutton of Santiago, Chile; Mrs. Lucille Smith of Balboa, Panama Canal Zone, Mrs. Mary Lund of Fargo, N.D. and Mrs. Helen Mason of Round Mountain, California; two brothers, George of Lancaster, Minnesota and Leon of Round Lake, Minnesota and a granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Boniface church with Rev. Frederick Beck officiating. The Holy Name society will recite the rosary at 8 o’clock this evening in the O’Toole Gunn Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
