Former Sioux City Man Killed In Rail Crossing Accident

Clarence F. McWhorter, a former Sioux Cityan, was killed in a railroad crossing accident in Chicago Friday. Mr. McWhorter was a member of the National Guard here in 1916 and went to the Mexican Border with Company H. Later he moved to LeMars and went to the First World War as a member of Company K of LeMars.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon in the Burkett Funeral Home at Omaha. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.

Details of the accident were not available.
