Funeral services for Mrs. Jack D. Cook, 21, of near Sergeant Bluff, who was killed Thursday in a fall to the pavement while riding horseback, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the W. Harry Christy chapel at Morningside. Rev. Ferman Renner will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

The body will be taken to the home of the parents at Salix at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Born November 13, 1923, at Sloan, Iowa, Mrs. Cook attended schools at Sloan and Westfield, graduating in 1942 at Salix. She was married January 1, 1943, to Jack D. Cook at Dakota City, Nebraska.

Surviving besides the widower and 20-month-old son, Ronnie, of Sergeant Bluff, are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. N. Bertrand of Salix, five brothers, S. Sgt Louis, serving with the army in Germany, Bernard, with the navy in the South Pacific, Lionel, serving in Italy and Harold and Merlin, both of Salix and five sisters, Mrs. Art Lander of Sloan, Mrs. Verle Neal and Mrs. Chester Nelson, both of Hermosa Beach, California, and Shirley and Angeline, both of Salix.
