Everildas M. McKenna, 102, of Sioux City died Saturday, June 6, 1998 at the Holy Spirit Retirement Home.

Services will be at 10:45 a.m. Thursday at Holy Spirit Retirement Home Chapel, with the Rev. LeRoy L. Seuntjens, chaplain, officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 6 p.m. today, with a rosary at 4 p.m. said by the Catholic Daughters of America, at Larkin Northside Funeral Home. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the service at the retirement home chapel.

Miss McKenna was born October 26, 1895 in Granville, Iowa, the daughter of Michael P. and Catherine A. (Dolan) McKenna. She moved with her family to Sioux City in 1907. She was employed as a bookkeeper with American Serum Company for many years.

She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of America Ave Maria Court 269.

Survivors include a nephew, Milton McKenna of Glen Mills, Pa., and two nieces, Mary Delaney of Sun City, Ariz., and Velma Chavez of Albuquerque, N.M.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Aloysius J., Clement L., the Rev. Thomas J. and John L. McKenna and three sisters, Catherine R. Follis, Sr. Mary Catherine De Ricci, O.P and Loretta R. McKenna.
