Donna R. Lembcke, 74, of West Point, Iowa, formerly of Sioux City, passed away Friday, July 7, 2017, at her home.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in West Point, with The Very Rev. Fr. Marty Goetz as Celebrant and Fr. Dennis Hoffman as Con-Celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at West Point. Following the burial, a luncheon will be held at West Point American Legion. Visitation will be after noon Monday, with the family present 5 to 7 p.m., a parish rosary recited at 3 p.m., and a Christian wake service at 7 p.m., all at Schmitz Funeral Home in West Point. Donna was born Jan. 3, 1943, in Sioux City, the daughter of E. Ray and Thelma M. Jones Stieneke.

On Nov. 3, 1962, at Saint Michaels Catholic Church in South Sioux City, Neb., she married Darrell A. Lembcke. He preceded her in death on Sept. 15, 2008. Donna was employed at O’Malley-Ryan-Spexarth Insurance Agency and the Fort Madison Community Hospital.

She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in West Point, The Altar and Rosary Society of the church and West Point American Legion Auxiliary. She helped coordinate the West Point Blood Drives. Donna was an avid Nebraska Cornhusker and Cincinnati Reds Fan. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren.

Survivors include two daughters, Kimberly (John) Goetz of Keokuk, Iowa, and Kathy Brune of Denmark, Iowa; three grandchildren, Jennifer Goetz, Austin Brune and Allison Brune. Also surviving is her twin sister, Darlene Goodwin of DeWitt, Neb.; one brother, Gary (Joni) Stieneke of South Sioux City; sister-in-law, Nancy (Tom) Sluga of Cassa Grande, Ariz.; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Darrell.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St Mary’s Church, West Point Fire and Rescue or the Holy Trinity Elementary School Building Project.
