Scalded-Mr. Wm. Armitage’s five-year-old boy was severely scalded in the face last Monday evening. The little fellow was running through the house in pursuit of the family cat, and just as he entered the door leading to the kitchen a coffee-pot of boiling coffee was being transferred from the stove to the table. The boy ran plump against it and the coffee was spilled over his face, blistering the skin and flesh very badly. He has been stowed away in his little bed most of the time since, but he is receiving excellent care and it is hoped no serious scars will remain.
