Erick married Ragnhild JOHNSDATTER. Born in May 1794 in Bårnåss, Noderhov, Buskerud, Norway. Ragnhild died in Calmar, Winneshiek, Iowa on 22 Aug 1856; she was 62.

Resided in Coon Valley, Bad Ax Co. (now Vernon Co.), WI on 7 Jun 1880. Resided in Coon Town, Vernon Co., WI on 21 Jun 1900. Hans died in Coon Valley, Vernon Co., WI on 2 Jan 1915; he was 80. Buried in Vang Cemetery, Coon Valley, WI.
