Mary Belecank

BELECANK, BONNEAU, GOODWATER, MORISSETTE

I am looking for any info on Mary (Belecank) Morissette and she married my grandfather on May 3rd, 1857 in Winnesheik Co, Iowa. My grand fathers name is Charles Louis Morissette. They had 2 daughters before Mary died. Julian Matilda, and Amanda Mary Morissette. Born anytime from 1857 to 1862, and last name could of been spelled lots of ways.
Morisette, Morsette, Morcette, Morrissette, Morissette.
My grandfather then married my grandmother, Philomene Bonneau/Goodwater on Oct 5, 1863 in Winnesheik Co., IA and moved to Nebraska.The 2 girls from his first marriage stayed in Iowa and did not keep in Contact with the family. My father was the youngest of the family and did not know anything about the girls. Like to know if they got adopted or what. They may of stayed with her folks or relation. To what family or any info that can be found. They lived in Winneshiek Co., and both marriages are suppose to be in Winneshiek Co. We have proof that the 2 nd marriage was in Winneshiek Co. but not for sure on the First marriage.
