Thursday morning, March 22 at about eight o’clock Mrs. G. A. Nystrom passed away. It was a shock to her many friends, as it was unexpected. She is survived by her husband, three children,--Emma, Esther and Carl, and two brothers—Dr. Ellingson of Calmar and Ole Ellingson of St. Joseph, Mo. We have known Mrs. Nystrom from her girlhood and always had a kindly regard for her. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the home and3:00 o’clock at the N. E. L. church, Rev. Paul Koren officiating.

Among those who attended the funeral of Mrs. G. A. Nystrom were Ole Ellingson of St. Joseph, Mo., Mrs. Ole Peterson, Mrs. Jacob Kvenvold and O. Eide of Hartland, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Bendickson and daughters Esther and Oleen of Decorah, and Charley Anderson of Northfield, Minn.Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Maria and her maiden name was spelled Ellingsen. She was born in 1866 and is buried in Calmar Lutheran Cemetery.
