Conover people received the sad intelligence last week that Mrs. Cooper, mother of Mrs. M. Gilmartin, passed away in Austin last week. She was about 85 years old. Years ago Mrs. Cooper was a resident of Conover in the house which was pulled down last spring. Many here will remember her. We sympathize deeply with the bereaved.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Catherine who was born Dec. 25, 1830 and died Mar. 12, 1917. She is buried in the Calvary Cemetery in Austin, MN.
