Death From Scarlet Fever.
Helma Nasset, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ole A. Nasset of Lincoln township, died Monday evening after a brief illness of five days from scarlet fever. Miss Nasset was visiting at the home of Sheriff Qualley when taken sick last Wednesday. Her people were notified and her mother came at once, taking her home on Thursday. The disease developed rapidly and in spite of all effort death resulted. Deceased was a charming young woman just past her twenty-fifth birthday. For several years she was a successful teacher in the county schools and her death will be mourned by many friends.
The family desire to thank their friends and neighbors for the kindness and sympathy shown in their affliction.

Transcriber’s Note: . Her gravestone in Union Prairie Cemetery shows the name spelled Nesset. She was born Feb. 16 1883 and died March 2, 1908
