THE SILENT REAPER.
MRS. JOHN MARLOW.
Early Sunday morning after an illness of some duration, Mrs. john Marlow passed away at the farm home north of Decorah, leaving a husband to mourn the loss of a devoted wife. Mrs. Marlow’s maiden name was Margaret Johnson. She was born in Minnesota in 1877 and was married to John Marlow in September, 1902. For a long time Mrs. Marlow has been a sufferer from a nervous affliction. Specialists were consulted but they held out no hope of her recovery and had she been permitted to live it would have been at the expense of her eyesight. She was a patient sufferer throughout her final illness and death came as a release. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon at the home, Rev. M. Willett officiating, with interment in Phelps cemetery where Qneota Rebekah lodge took charge of the services. A large attendance at the funeral marked the sympathy felt for the husband the esteem in which the deceased was held.
