OBITUARY.

MRS. JOHN McMULLEN
Lovina Skinner was born Aug. 7, 1839{?}, in Gowanda, Cattaraugus Co., N. Y., and was married in New York state in 1857 to John McMullen. They came west and located in Iowa on Oct. 17, 1863, and have been residents of Decorah for about thirty-five years. About seven weeks ago Mrs. McMullen was taken ill with jaundice, and death resulted Sunday morning. She is survived by her husband, two brothers, Calvin Skinner of Freeport and Isaac Skinner in California, and five children—Mrs. D. W. Overacker in North Dakota, Mrs. C. W. Holford of Minneapolis, Mrs. F. H. Sevoy of Decorah, Avery McMullen or Mitchell S. D., and Bert McMullen. Mrs. McMullen was a member of the Methodist church, the funeral service, which was held Tuesday afternoon, being conducted by her paster Rev. W. E. Van Buren, with interment in the Decorah cemetery.
