Anders Haugen, aged 82, died on the 14th at the home of his son-in-law, Hans B. Johnson. The funeral was held at the Lutheran church on the 17th.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Aug.4 , 1825 and is buried in the Hesper Lutheran Cemetery.
