Mr. and Mrs. Fitzgerald, Mr. and Mrs. M. Broghammer and Rose Peyer came up from Cedar Rapids Monday to be in attendance at the funeral of their sister.

The burial of Mrs. Henry Schweinefus (nee Mary Peyer) occurred at the Catholic church Tuesday morning. She died last Saturday morning at Rochester, where she had gone only a few days previous to her death for treatment for cancer and appendicitis. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, four children, her parents, brothers and sisters, and many friends, by whom she will be greatly missed.

The many friends of Mrs. Henry Schweinefus will be pained to learn that the operation at Rochester to which she submitted was unsuccessful. Her remains were brought home Saturday night. The funeral will be held this (Tuesday) morning at the Catholic church.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows the name spelled Schwinefus. She was born in 1866 and is buried in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery.
