Intelligence was brought to our village Thursday morning, March 11th, that Mrs. Job Perry had been found dead at her home about two miles north of here. Wednesday she was about home in her usual health, and retired at night seemingly well, although she bad suffered an attack of la grippe, recently. Her daughter, Alma, went to her room to call her about seven o’clock with the above result. Mrs. Perry was the daughter of the late Mrs. Sarah Campbell, was born in Grant county, Wis., Feb. 12th, 1845, and came to Winnesheik county with her parents in June, 1848. In 1865 she was married to Job Perry and resided in Bloomfield township to the time of her death. The funeral occurred from the Universalist church, west of town, Friday afternoon at two o’clock, the Rev. Wilson, of Decorah, officiating.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Mary who is buried in Bloomfield Cemetery.
