Ole C. Eggen, one of the well known residents of Canoe township, died from heart disease Tuesday morning. He was stricken soon after breakfast, though when he arose lie was in his usual health. Complaining of the pain about his heart, he attempted to rise after having laid down for a few minutes, and with the remark that he believed he was going to die expired. He has been a resident of Canoe township over thirty years, was sixty-nine years old, and is survived by his wife, five sons and three daughters. The funeral is to be held to-day at the home and the remains will be taken to the Lutheran cemetery at Hesper for interment.
