“Found Dead—A Norwegian by the name of Andrews was found dead on the road side some five miles east from this town on the road to McGregor.* * * It appears that the deceased left his home near Burr Oak Springs on Tuesday of last week for Decorah having a team of horses and sleigh and on returning when near the McIntosh place the whipple-trees came off and the horses ran off and it is supposed the deceased pursued them taking the wrong road and running on till he became exhausted laid down and expired.”
