Timothy Joe Holt, 60, died suddenly June 1, 2018. He was doing what he loved, riding his Harley. A celebration of life is Saturday, June 9, at 2 p.m. in Timmy’s garage at 3623 236th Ave. Decorah. Food will be provided; attendees are asked to bring their beverage of choice, favorite memories and a lawn chair.

He was born March 4, 1958, in Worthington, Minn. Tim was an over-the-road trucker for 38 years. He was most recently employed by Foodliner Inc. in Dubuque. Tim joined the US Navy in March, 1976 and was honorably discharged March, 1982. Tim’s passions were riding motorcycle, and any gathering with family and/or friends. He married Dawn Peck May 15, 1982, at the Bakke Lutheran Church in Richwood, Minn.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn; son, Matthew (Brittney) of Beaverton, Ore., Angie (Jeremiah) of Rochester, Minn.; his grandchildren: Jaxon, Gabe, Carter and great-grandson, Ryker; mother, Patricia Hill, of Antelope, Calif.’ Seven siblings: Dan (Sue) Holt of Detroit Lakes, Minn., Cindy Perdue of Sacramento, Calif., Keith Holt of Detroit Lakes, Minn., Janell (Brian) Walz of Glyndon, Minn., Lonnie (Lanette) Holt of Zimmerman, Minn., Jim (Julie) Holt of Wadena and Amy (John) Fields of Antelope, Calif.; step-mother, Sharon Holt, of Radisson, Wia., step-sister, Kim (Dick) Swager, of Radisson, Wis., step-brother, Kevin Trumpbold, of Charles City; mother-in-law, Bev Peck, of Rochester, Minn., brothers-in-law, Dan (Barb) Peck of Preston, Minn. and DuWayne (Kim) Peck of Rochester, Minn. He also is survived by many nieces/nephews, great nieces/nephews aunts, uncles and cousins.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Holt; step-father, Bob Hill; and father-in-law, Jim Peck.
