The following item taken from the Council Bluffs Nonpareil will be of interest to the many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Gibbs:
Silver Wedding.—Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Gibbs, 909 High street, celebrated their silver wedding Wednesday the occasion being marked by a family party, attended by Mrs. Gibbs’ two sisters and her brother, all from out of town. The brother is Arthur Kramer of Dixon, Ill., who was accompanied by his wife. The two sisters are Mrs. Guy C. Toye of Northwood, Iowa, and Mrs. Andrew M. Thoams of Seattle, Wash. The Kramers left Wednesday evening for home, the two sisters remaining until Thursday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Gibbs were married at Castalia, Iowa, and have been residents of this city for the past fifteen eyars. Mr. Gibbs was formerly with the Great Western road, but is retired from active business.
