On Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock, at the Lincoln church occurred the marriage of Miss Letta Fjelstul and Rev. Clarence L. Lee of St. Paul. Lohengrin’s wedding march was played by Edna Lee. The ceremony was performed by Rev. D. C. Jordahl. The bride wore a gown of white satin and carried a shower bouquet. The bride’s maids were Nettie Fjelstul, sister of the bride, and Dora and Ethel Lee, sisters of the groom. Best men were Edward Fjelstul, brother of the bride, Alfred Lee, brother of the groom, and Raymond Fjelstul, cousin of the bride. Little Lorraine Anderson acted as flower girl and wore a white organdie dress and carried white daisies. After the ceremony the guests departed to the John Fjelstul home where a five o’clock wedding supper was served. The bride is one of Ridgeway’s well known young women and is held in sincere esteem because of many excellent qualities. The groom was a student of Luther college, graduating in 1917, and since then has been a student of Luther Theological seminary in St. Paul, where he completed his course a few weeks ago and will be ordained on Sunday, July 4th. He has been called to Redfield, S. D., where he and Mrs. Lee expect to go the latter part of July. The bridal couple left Thursday morning for St. Paul to visit relatives for a couple of weeks. Among those from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. John Hopperstad and family, Mr. and Mrs. Emerson and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Knutson of Northwood, Iowa, Mrs. J. Wold, Enderlin, N. D., Mr. and Mrs. Lee, Dora, Ethel, Edna, and Alfred of St. Paul, Mr. and Mrs. Steen Johnson and Norma, Mrs. Nelson, Prof. Preus, Rev. Torrison, Arthur Lee and Stella Scarvie of Decorah. A host of friends bespeak for them a cordial reception in their new home and wish them many years of happiness.
