A very pretty home wedding took place Tuesday, Nov. 25th, when Mr. and Mrs. Simon Kiesau’s youngest daughter Miss Hulda was united in marriage to John Kruger. The ceremony was performed at 2 o’clock by Rev. Sissler, paster of the German church, after which a wedding dinner was served to one hundred invited guests. The bride looked very charming in a gown of white brocaded silk, pearls and fur, while the groom was attired in dark blue. They were the recipients of a large number of presents, among them being several lovely cut glass pieces. The happy couple began housekeeping on the farm with the bride’s parents, and start out on their matrimonial journey with bright prospects for a prosperous voyage with the best wishes of their many friends.
