HYMENEAL.
On Thursday, Nov. 27th, 1913, at the A. C. Church in Burr Oak, at the hour of ten o’clock, occurred the marriage of Miss Katherine McMullen and Lorenzo G. Morrison, Rev. S. Clark officiating. The ceremony, which was witnessed by the immediate relatives and a few friends, was performed under an arch of white and green, and was followed by a bountiful dinner, served at the home of the bride’s mother. The bride was gowned in white silk crepe de chine and carried pink roses, and the groom wore conventional black. Their attendants were Miss Clara McMullen, sister of the bride, and Thomas Morrison, brother of the groom. Mr. and Mrs. Morrison departed for Carson, Iowa, where they will visit relatives.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. John McMullen. She is one of this county’s most popular young ladies, and highly esteemed by all who know her. She was a former student of Valder college, and has been a successful teacher in this county for a number of years. The groom is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Morrison. He was also a student of Valder College, but is now a successful farmer of Bluffton township. He is a popular young man, of sterling character, and highly esteemed by a large acquaintance.
A long and happy journey through life is the wish of their many friends.
