Married.
At Festina, last Tuesday, Mr. Mat Drilling and Miss Kate Hagemann were united in marriage, Rev. Father Rubly officiating. They were attended by Mr. Frank Drilling, brother of the groom, and Miss Ida Hagemann, sister of the bride. After the services at the church the young couple repaired to the home of the bride’s parents, where a sumptuous repast was prepared for a large number of relatives and friends and neighbors.
The groom is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Drilling of near Cresco, who until five or six years ago lived in this community. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hagemann of Fort Atkinson. Both young people were reared in this community and are among the finest and best of the people, held in highest esteem by a a{sic} large circle of friends, who join the writer in extending congratulations and wishing them health, happiness and prosperity in their journey through life.
They will make their home on a farm near Cresco. —Ossian Bee.
