The home of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Rice was filled with friends Tuesday evening, Feb. 9th, who made them a pleasant surprise, it being the twenty-first anniversary of their wedded life. The evening was pleasantly spent. All were served to a sumptuous repast and Mr. and Mrs. Rice were presented with an easy chair to remind them that now was the time to begin enjoying the fruits of their labor and not wait until health and happiness had grown old.
