Married.
SCHAMEL- KRATZ—At the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kratz, in Lincoln township, tomorrow occurs the marriage of Mr. George Schamel of this city and Miss Sarah Kratz, Rev. Buente of Cresco officiating.
The groom is well known in Decorah as a leading horseshoer and has built up an extensive business, while the bride is of one of the best German families of Lincoln township. Their friends will wish them much joy and happiness.—Decorah Journal March 25

Married Yesterday.
Yesterday, at the home of the bride’s parents in Lincoln township, Geo. Schamel of Decorah was united in marriage with Miss Sarah Kratz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kratz. The bride is a member of one of the best known and most respected families of Lincoln township, and Mr. S. is one of the leading blacksmiths of Decorah. After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Schamel departed for Mt. Carroll, Ill , where they will visit at his parental home.

Last Wednesday at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Kratz, of Howard county, occurred the marriage of their daughter Sarah to Geo. Schamel, of Decorah. The bride is a very lovable young lady and a host of friends unite in wishes that the choicest of life’s blessings may be theirs. The young couple left on the afternoon train for Mt. Carroll, Ill., for a visit with Mr. Schamel’s people, and afterwards to Wyoming, this state. After returning they will take up their residence in Decorah, where the groom has a good blacksmith trade.
