EAGER-GARDNER—At the residence of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Z. T. Gardner, in Orleans twp., Sept. 19th, Rev. H. Williams officiating, Dana F. Eager, of Plainfield, Wis., and Miss Grace M. Gardner.
Only the near relatives and intimate friends were present to the number of about fifteen guests. The bridal couple took the 9:30 p. m. train at Cresco for their future home at Plainfield, Wis. Abundant showers of rice and numerous well wishes marked their departure. The groom has a farm and home to which he takes his bride and where they will be “at home” soon after their arrival.
The bride has been an active worker in her church and Sunday school, having been teacher and organist and will be greatly missed. A host of friends regret that she has chosen to make her home elsewhere.
Mr. Eager is to be congratulated in having won this accomplished young lady for his wife. We wish them bon voyage.
