FOREST CITY - Beverly B. Larson, 82, passed away on April 8, 2016, at the James River Care Center in Springfield, Missouri.

A daughter of Dr. Charles and Marion Potter, Beverly Bea was born on February 8, 1934. She graduated from Forest City High School. On November 9, 1952, she married Wally Larson at the United Methodist Church in Forest City. Subsequently, they had three children, Stephen, Kay, and Barbara. A stay-at-home mom, she lived with her family on the farm near Joice for fifteen years. Then, they moved to Forest City to live in Doc Potter’s home on Main Street (where she had grown up). She enjoyed working at the greenhouse and library. She loved to go places as well. Moreover, she, always, found joy with her children and grandchildren. They meant the world to her. We will so miss her smile and laugh.

Beverly is survived by her daughter, Barb, and her husband, Mark, of Battlefield, Missouri; her grandchildren, Dylan (Katrina) Larson, Nick Larson, Anna (Mike) Halerewicz, all of DeKalb, Illinois, Jennifer (Terry) Hansen, of Mosinee, Wisconsin, Lisa (Jesse) O’Toole, of Leland, Iowa, Matt Wilson, of Branson, Missouri, and Mike Wilson, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; her great grandchildren, Hunter, Hailey, and Marlee O’Toole and Daymon Halerewicz; her son-in-law, Roger Lee; and two sisters-in-law, Maynis Aamodt, of Northwood, and Marilyn Larson, of Clear Lake.

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Wally; her son, Steve; her daughter, Kay Lee; two daughters-in-law, Kristi Larson and Opal Larson; her parents; a sister, Betty Estrada; and two brothers, Bob and Bill Potter.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at the Cataldo Schott Funeral Home in Forest City. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Monday, at the funeral home.
