A quick online search looked like no one researching this family who had posted family lineages had yet located David R. Breese's date of death, so I thought I would attempt to locate a date and location for you.

June 22, 1807 ---- March 29, 1889

March 30, 1889

The death of D. D. Breese, the aged father of the Breese Bros., occurred at his home in this city yesterday morning. A short service was held at the home of deceased at eight o'clock last evening, and the remains taken to Sandwich, Illinois, his former home, where they will be laid to rest. Mr. Breese was born at Basking Ridge, New Jersey, in 1807, and removed to this city in 1874. He was an ardent Christian and a man of many friends.
