Mary Louise Cawthorn, 79, Allerton, Iowa went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. Mary Louise was born May 16, 1930 and was the daughter of William and Anna Knapp.

She is survived by her husband Loyd and their three children, Dennis (Kaye) Cawthorn, Nancy (Jim) Jones, Paul (Kris) Cawthorn, seven grandchildren, ten great- grandchildren, brother William (Susan) Knapp, sister Carolyn Doggett, sisters-in-law Irene Knapp, Mary Lou Knapp and Carol Knapp, and 16 nieces and nephews.

Mary was truly a servant of the Lord. She always exhibited unconditional love with a true heart to help others. She was a devoted wife and mother. She loved being part of all her children and grandchildren's lives.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Anna Knapp, brother Paul Knapp, and nephew Roger Knapp.

A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at the Randolph Funeral Home in Corydon, Iowa. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Randolph Funeral Home, Corydon.
