Family of Conrad Lins & Mary (Scheidemantel) Lins

LINS

Conrad Lins (1833-1923) and Mary (Scheidemantel) Lins (1838-1925) are my 2X great-grand-parents.
Conrad's obituary in 1923 refers to 11 children, one of which was a daughter who died in infancy, but no mention is made of her name or when she died.
I can't find any birth or death records online for her in Iowa - but since official recording of Iowa births & deaths only began in 1880, this is "to be expected".
However I haven't found a burial for her (unlike her 2 siblings that died "young", who do have graves with gravestones in the same cemetery (Woodlawn) where their parents are buried).
Is there a separate area in Woodlawn where babies would be buried? And if so, how would I be able to access those burial records, or any other local archive material referencing the Lins family that might shed some light on this mystery?
Many thanks in advance for your help & suggestions,
Robyn Laing
[I live in Boston, so not so easy to just head to the cemetery or library to do my own research thru the old paper records]
