Catherine Bliss
(April 15, 1893 – May 3, 1960)

Former Resident Dies in Indiana
Mrs. Floyd Bliss, 67, former Warren County resident, died May 3 of cancer in a Goshen, Ind. Hospital following a seven month illness. She will be remembered here as the former Kitty Blake who grew up in the Farmers’ Chapel and Palmyra neighborhood and after her marriage lived in the Ackworth and Milo vicinity before moving to Des Moines. She and Mr. Bliss moved to Goshen 14 years ago. Services will be held there at the Methodist church and a second service will be held Friday, May 6, at 3 p.m. in Des Moines at the Dahlstrom Funeral Home with burial in Glendale Cemetery.
