Bartholomew Rites Friday
Funeral services for Walter G. Bartholomew, 66, Des Moines, will be held at the Peterson Funeral Home Friday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. Mr. Bartholomew, a former Indianola resident, died at his home Tuesday. He had been ill about three months. He was born in Palmyra and following their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Bartholomew lived in Indianola, moving to Des Moines in 1923. He was associated with the Oliver Corp. for 34 years, and had been Iowa Credit manager for the tractor firm. He was manager of dealer relations the past years, although partially retired. Besides his wife, Fern, he is survived by one sister; Mrs. Nora Igo of Manson.
