Harrison B. Flesher
(January 4, 1859 – April 27, 1934)

Harrison B. Flesher, son of Perry and Alcinda Flesher, was born near Terra Haute, Mo., January 4, 1859, and departed this life April 27, 1934, at his home at the age of 75 years, 3 months and 22 days. He was the youngest child of a family of eleven, all of whom have gone on before him. With his parents he came to Liberty Center in 1869, when only ten years old and had been a resident her since that time.
In Business 40 Years – He was united in marriage to Ida M. Bennett on January 26, 1898, and to this union one daughter, Mrs. Lela Wellbaum, was born. He had been in business at Liberty Center for 40 years. Three years ago he had to give up his business due to failing health. Fifteen months ago he had an attack of flu from which he never fully recovered. About four weeks ago he called his wife to his bedside and told her he had lived a long time and was ready to go. He said it would be only a short time until they were together again.
Surviving Relatives – During all his sickness he was kind and patient. He was a kind and loving husband and father and loved his home, an honest and upright citizen who believed in and lived the golden rule. Besides his widow and daughter he leaves six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends who will miss him and mourn his passing.
